Child Seats In Our Campervans
The safety of your littlest traveller is incredibly important to us. We’ve made an easy-to-read article to help you decide which of our budget campervan rentals is right the right one for your family.
Australian law state that children up to 7 years of age must be fastened in a child restraint.
Age of Child | Size of Child | Child Seat Type | Correct Position in Vehicle |
0-6 Months | 0-9 kgs | Rear Facing | Rear Row of Seats |
6 Months – 4 Years | 9-18 kgs | Forward Facing | Rear Row of Seats |
4 – 7 Years | 14-26 kgs | Booster Seat | Front or Rear Row of Seats |
The ages mentioned above are just a guide for the safety of your child. If your child is too small for the child seat specified for their age, use the appropriate rear facing or forward facing seat. Or, if your child has already outgrown the restraint specified for their age, use the appropriate forward facing or booster seat.
